Ryan McCormick
Born: Hayward, CA
Church: Calvary Boise
Occupation: United States Air Force
Favorite verse: Luke 10:16 Psalms 127:3
A dedicated and passionate coach, Ryan McCormick has been a staple in the Treasure Valley football community for 14 years. Born in Hayward, California, McCormick has called Idaho home since 1993, where he has built a life centered on faith, family, and football.
McCormick's roots run deep in the local community. He attended McMillian Elementary, Lowell Scott Middle School, and Centennial High School before graduating from Mountain Cove High School. His commitment to service is evident through his ongoing career as an Air Force Veteran, which he began in 2003. His journey into coaching was born from a desire to make a positive impact. After seeing his oldest son play under subpar coaches, he was inspired to be the change he wanted to see on the field. This led him to a coaching philosophy that transcends the game of football. For McCormick, the primary goal is to build a foundation of character in his players, teaching them the values of sacrifice and dedication to God, family, team, and self.
Off the field, McCormick is a devoted husband and a proud father to his six children, five boys and one girl. His commitment to his family and his faith is the driving force behind his dedication to developing young athletes into leaders of character.

I have over 10 years of experience coaching youth sports and I'm passionate about using the game as a platform to help develop strong character, leadership and faith in young athletes. Football is more than just competition—it’s an opportunity to teach youth discipline, teamwork, accountability, and respect while helping young men grow both on and off the field.
My focus is on building confidence, respect, and guiding players to become responsible young men who support one another as teammates and friends. I'm committed to creating a positive environment where athletes learn the value of hard work, integrity, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
I'm happily married and the proud father of two children. My faith and family are central to me and influence the way I mentor and lead the players I coach. I strive to set a positive example and hope the lessons learned through football will stay with players long after their time on the field.
